PREVENTIVE MEASURES AGAINST COVID-19

J&T Express goes to extreme lengths for employees’ welfare in support of the COVID-19 combat.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 – First quarter of 2020 is a time of great tension and uncertainty. COVID-19 came to role and it is a moment in time where medic supplies are at its most critical. Frontline workers are in great demand and our job remains essential.

To fight the combat against COVID-19, J&T Express has taken the necessary precautions and implemented a strict cleanliness guideline.

The company implemented a series of preventive health guidelines for employees in Malaysia — everything from increasing the frequency and intensity of cleaning to amending our practices in our Drop Points, Collection Points, and gateways to ensure the recommended social distancing guidelines by World Health Organization (WHO).

The health guideline is as below:

  1. J&T Express Malaysia HQ.
  • Daily temperature screening.

  • Practicing a new greet method to customers without any body contacts. E.g. right palm open, placed on the left side of the chest with a slight bow to say thank you.
  • Place sanitizers for customer use on counter top.

  • Tight security checks prior to entering into Gateway’s premises.

The managements of the company are working to identify additional-workable methods to improve these measures.

“I am very grateful for the work you are doing. I’ve also seen posts on social media thanking you,” says Mr Roy Zeng, CEO of J&T Express Malaysia.

He also said employee efforts are being noticed at the highest levels of government.

At this state of stress and turmoil, J&T Express is fulfilling orders and maintaining its delivery efficiency to customers.

J&T Express changed its delivery mechanism by prioritizing essential delivery items like household staples, sanitation and medical supplies.

Mr. Zeng further elaborated that Malaysians are counting on us.

The company wants you to know that we will continue to play our responsibilities, and we won’t halt looking for new chances to help Malaysia.

Together, we join forces and win the fight against this pandemic virus. Stay safe and stay healthy!
