J&T Express National Badminton Tournament 2018

KUALA LUMPUR, 7th August – Recently J&T Express Malaysia organised a badminton tournament nationwide. It was a match among the states gateways fighting for their place in the upcoming badminton match co-hosted by Deloitte Malaysia China Service Department, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Xiamen University Malaysia Campus; a friendly badminton competition between Malaysia and China Enterprises with the sole purpose of engaging team building spirits among one another.

We had a total of 18 teams participating, consisting of ten men doubles and eight mixed doubles across the states of Malaysia.

The entire event lasted for an intense 3 hours with Penang represented by Mohd Azraf Bin Mohamad Rani and Muhammad Arif Bin Mohd Fuad reigning victory under the men doubles category and Perak represented by Mooi Hing Foong and Lim Jian Hao under the Mixed Double Category.



Second place came in smoothly for Aidil Ezhar Bin Jaafar and Mohd Hazri Bin shuhaimi from Melaka under the men doubles while Azim Shah Seth and Intan Shahidah Binti Md Isa scored second for Johor under the mixed doubles category.

Poi Wei Junn and Koh Wei Yong from Kelantan and Nurul Qistina Bt Mohd Kenali and Tinagaran A/L Genesan from Kuala Lumpur gained third place under the men doubles and mixed doubles category respectively.

After the tournament, the prize giving ceremony commences with the Assistant of CEO, Ms Sunny and Finance Director, Mr Zheng Xiao Zhou presenting certifications and trophies to the winners, also participants.

J&T Express Malaysia would like to congratulate the winning team and we wish a job well done to all the participants! The winners of this match will be representing J&T Express Malaysia in the upcoming friendly badminton tournament between Malaysia and China Enterprises.

Winners of the competition will receive rewards of such as medals, trophies and cash prizes worth up to RM1800.
