What is the volumetric charges of J&T Express?

Shipping large or irregular shaped items can be influenced by the amount of space it occupies (volumetric weight) rather than the actual weight.

Volumetric weight is calculated by Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 6000 = Kilograms
Length is defined as the longest side of the package. Height is the shortest side of the package.

Actual weight and volumetric weight are considered in the actual shipping cost whichever is higher.

Does J&T Express deliver on weekends?

Yes, J&T Express operates 365 days a year. We also deliver on weekends and public holidays. Once in four years, we operate 366 days a year.

Yes, J&T Express provides pick up services. Please call 1300-80-9000 to arrange for a pick-up service and our dispatcher will be there to collect your parcel. T&C applied.

Additional surcharge of RM5 per trip (excludes 6% SST) is required for unlimited amount of pick-up parcel. Free pick-up service for J&T Express VIP members only. T&C applied.

Is there a minimum or maximum weight requirement for pick-up service?

Single parcel dimensional weight limit:

Longest length must not more than 150cm.
Length + Width + Height must not more than 300cm.

ii) Single parcel actual weight limit is 70kg.

How does J&T Express work?

J&T Express will attempt delivery to the delivery address stated in the shipping label. If the buyer is uncontactable, J&T Express will attempt to deliver the parcel to the buyer a few more times. If for whatever reasons, J&T Express has attempted three deliveries and still failed, J&T Express will proceed to return the parcel to seller.

No, we do not provide COD services, however we do have Delivery Fee On Delivery (DFOD).

DFOD – DFOD is a system where the receiver pays for the delivery fees upon parcel arrival.

What are the differences between Drop Points (DP) and Collection Points (CP)?

DP – Drop point is an outlet where customer drops off and collect their parcel. Drop points are located nearby business parks making it easier and convenient for everyone to visit us during rush hours.

CP – Collection point is a convenient place for customer drop off their parcel ONLY. Collection Point also serves as a convenient store for many third-party services. Collection points are mostly located nearby the housing areas making it easily accessible by foot.

All parcels must be handled by Drop Point or Collection Point’s admin. He/she will key in sender and receiver information in the system and print out the consignment note to paste on parcel.

There are approximately 350 Drop Points and 70 Collection Points nationwide, you may go to the nearest Drop Point to deliver your parcels, call our customer service hotline or visit our website and download J&T Express Malaysia applications to make an order and sent your shipment.
