• Responsible for managing procurement operations.
  • Responsible to identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and selecting the supplier that offers the best value for money.
  • Familiar with procurement process, supplier evaluation and assessment.
  • Investigate, analyse and evaluate market information, determine purchasing timing, and optimize purchasing strategies.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • To monitor and ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, binding, packing and preparation of outgoing submissions.
  • Arrange the procurement sequence reasonably, and prepare the procurement plan in advance for the demand for materials in short supply and long-distance procurement.
  • Collect supplier resource information, price information, track supplier quotations and sample comparisons, do market research, establish qualified supplier files, and establish a good and stable supplier system.
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Any ad-hoc task which is required by the management.

Job Requirements: - 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Logistic/Transportation, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably candidate who familiar with tendering process and with prior experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in cost management and performance metrics tracking, price negotiation, vendor evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
  • Required skill (s): MS. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Applicants must be willing to work travel across Malaysia.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting purchase requests, preparing purchase orders, tracking purchases and supplies, and handling order inquiries.
  • Assist in comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid, track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders, and calculate relevant costs.
  • Data entry in the system.
  • To perform ad-hoc functions assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Supply Chain/ Procurement /Business Administration/Business Studies or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Independent and good communication skills
  • A good team player, proactive and self- motivated.
  • Must be willing to work in KL Eco City.
  • Minimum internship period: 3 months
  • Internship period starting from April/May 2023
